1. Standing Order with the bank.

Contact your bank in the usual way and ask to set up a regular payment to Tir Pontypridd, using the details below.

Please use your membership email address as the reference when setting up your Standing Order to ensure that we can link your payment with your membership.

2. PayPal is an alternative option to Standing Order. When you join via MemberMojo, at the checkout you will be given the option to pay with paypal and directed to the PayPal website.

Alternatively, print out the Standing Order Form and take it into your local bank branch.

We prefer a Standing Order set up directly at the bank, as this is the easiest method for checking our membership and income.

There are 3 membership tiers to choose from: paying as much as you are willing – or able – to contribute. 

£3 per month ‘I’m low-income but I want to support Tir Pontypridd’

£5 per month ‘I’m in the safe space – I can afford it’

£10 per month ‘I can afford to support others to join with my membership fee’

At Tir Pontypridd we are interested in a fair society that doesn’t cost the earth. Unfortunately our society regularly leaves many citizens living in poverty and social deprivation whilst our society as a whole continues to exploit resources and pollute the environment above safe levels.

Membership is open to everyone! Whether you live in Pontypridd or not, you are welcome to join us and support our venture by paying a regular membership fee.

Because local decision-making is important to us, only members who live in the local area will have the right to vote,  helping us to make decisions on land purchase and use.  Members from outside the Pontypridd area do not have the right to vote. 

Please use our MemberMojo form to sign up. Please tell us the area you live in when you fill in the application form.

We define ‘living in the Pontypridd area’ as a person with an address in one of these areas:
Pontypridd Town, Cilfynydd, Coedpenmaen, Glyntaff, Glyncoch (& Coed-y-Cwm), Graig, Graigwen (& Pantygraigwen), Hawrthorn, Hopkinstown, Maesycoed, Pen-y-coed-cae, Pontsionnorton, Pwllgwaun, Rhydyfelin, Trallwn, Trefforest, Upper boat, Ynysybwl.

Please choose one of these areas when you fill out your MemberMojo application form to become a Member. If you do not live in the areas above, choose ‘Other- Not Pontypridd’ at the bottom of the drop down box.

Active members who live in the Pontypridd are eligible to vote at any Annual General Meetings, Special or Emergency General meetings within 3 calendar months of the first payment (or if you have paid upfront with an annual membership).

Those from outside the Pontypridd area do not have the right to vote. 

Yes you can add up to one extra household member. These will be persons who live in the same address as you.  They will be asked to sign Terms and Conditions via email, and if they live in Pontypridd they will also have the right to vote.

We use MemberMojo to manage our growing membership as it is affordable and allows us to store your data safely and comply with GDPR.  

Once you are a member, MemberMojo is a fully automated service, so you will receive notifications when your membership needs updating.  

You can log in to Membermojo anytime by going straight to the MemberMojo site (membermojo.co.uk/tirpontypridd) using the email you used to set up your membership. This is a two step authentication, so you will receive an email in your inbox to log in, two clicks and you’re done! 

If you have changed your name / address please log in to MemberMojo (membermojo.co.uk/tirpontypridd )using the email you used to set up your membership. Click on your name in the right hand corner and choose ‘Your Membership’. From here you will see a section that says ‘My Details: View or edit your membership details’ with a button that says.

Please ensure that our system has the most up-to-date information about you, as this may affect your right to vote. You will also be able to review your membership and make changes when you renew your membership annually.
